Hmmm...interesting perspective Hilde. I guess you do have a good point though. I think that poor Caylee dying in vain may be what is subconsciously bothering many. It's just for me anyway, I can't shake that the murderer was likely set free. And what makes it even worse is that if Casey was in fact the killer, the motive was pure selfishness and evil. I (and many I'm sure) would have GLADLY taken her little "inconvenience" off her hands! It's just gut wrenching.

What we need to remember a Verdict of Not Guilty doesn't mean Innocent in spite of what People may think.
Casey Anthony was not found Innocent of the Crime she committed.
In the End we All have to pay the Consequences for our Actions, even Casey Anthony has to answer to higher Power in the End.
This Case always has been about an innocent little Child shy of being 3 Yrs. old, her Life was taken away before she had a Chance to grow up
Her little Body was triple bagged in a Garbage Bag and dumped in the Swamps
for Animals to feast on. All the Evidence led to her Mother Casey Anthony as the Only One responsible for what was done to Caylee.
Isn't this Child worth more than being killed and thrown out like yesterdays Trash and than the Person responsible got away with murdering her just because she was lucky enough that enough time passed before they found the skeleton Remains of this poor Child and only the Means of the Death could be determined which was clearly Homicide.
Now, that is the Reason why so many People are in Uproar about this sad Case.
Injustice for Caylee has been done and that is a sad Fact.
It is not about hating Casey, it has always been about Caylee an innocent Victim
and her Perpetrator got send free, not Guilty but also not innocent!

@Hilde - I suppose in hindsight I would have to agree with what you're saying about the Prosecution. I was in a "disgust fueled stupor" at the time I wrote my thoughts, and didn't feel like giving anyone credit for doing their job. But each side did do the best they could with what they had (which was surprisingly not much it seems). It's amazing to me just how much information was inadmissible or considered circumstantial. Mind you, I'm not necessarily one of the types that hang on what Nancy Grace says, nor do I watch Court TV. I followed the case casually, but took more interest when the verdict came down out of shock. I would not be able to go toe to toe with someone who passionately agreed with the verdict because I just don't have the ammunition. I don't think it would matter because in the end, nothing they could say would change my mind. The only thing we have to acknowledge is, "she went to trial and the jury found her innocent. So in the eyes of the law, she's innocent". But that doesn't mean we have to accept it or believe it!

Another thing to consider is "karma" (or God's justice). Just look at what happened to OJ! He was acquitted and even wrote a book called "IF I Did It"! And yet he's now in prison for a long time for something totally unrelated. Armed Robbery I think? I'm pretty sure most people have forgotten that. So, I really do feel that bad things happen to bad people. It's as though once the Devil has you in his clutches it's almost impossible to escape. ALMOST, but not totally! Only God's power is greater, so it's in him that we will find forgiveness and protection. But you have to "want it". Only God knows the heart. A person can tell themselves over and over how "they want to change, or have changed", but only God knows what's really in their heart. Therefore, you can run, but you can't hide!

Btw, Thank you for the comments! This was my first "legitimate" attempt at a Blog post. I don't know anything about the art of blogging and getting my thoughts out there to the people. I was surprised to see that I had two comments! I wonder how you even found my post? I have a lot of random thoughts I'd like to share with people. But it's hard to get motivated to do so if you're essentially talking to yourself!

Very well said!
I do agree with You on most, the only Difference of Opinion I have is about the Prosecution. I feel they did the Best with what they had and what they were able to get in as Evidence.
Do I wish the Jurors could have heard and seen everything we were privileged to, yes I do. Would the Verdict been different, I would think maybe.
I never thought the Defendant would get the DP but I was sure she would get charged with one of the other major Charges, I was wrong but that doesn't mean the Verdict was right.
Yes Casey Anthony got away with Murder, I won't argue that, very sad indeed.
